The newborn baby girl is now fourth in line to the British throne, behind her grandfather Prince Charles, her father Prince William, and her brother Prince George. She bumps her uncle Prince Harry down to fifth in line, with Prince Andrew and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie falling to sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.

Though she was in labor for approximately 11 hours while giving birth to Prince George in July 2013, she made quick business of the birth of her second child. A few minutes after 11 a.m., Kensington Palace announced the royal baby's birth, noting that both Her Royal Highness and her daughter were "doing well," and that Queen Elizabeth II and other members of both families had been informed.
