For Demi Lovato, part of being “Cool for the Summer” means showing off some skin, which is something the pop star, 22, has no problem doing anymore. On Sunday, July 12, the Disney alum posted a sexy shot of herself via Instagram, lying down with her bare legs raised in a racy pose.
“Learn to lurrrrrvveee yerrrrr currrrrvveees I actually used to hate them… But then a special someone helped me learn how to love them… And he sure loves them…. #squats #COOLFORTHESUMMER,” Lovato wrote, seemingly hinting at her longtime love, Wilmer Valderrama.
The outspoken activist has been open about her struggles with eating disorders and substance abuse while she was starring on the Disney Channel in the Camp Rock films and on the show Sunny With a Chance.
After going to rehab in 2010, Lovato recently admitted that she almost went back to the facility in 2013.
“It’s been difficult. I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer. I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief,” Lovato told Fitness magazine in December 2014. “I was done being afraid of food and so tired of overeating and not knowing why I did it. Now I’m on a structured meal plan. I eat four small meals and two snacks a day. It’s teaching me portion control.”
