Kim Kardashian nearly broke the Internet with her nude Fall 2014 Paper magazine cover, but Miley Cyrus is giving Kardashian a solid run for her money in the mag’s Summer 2015 edition. The New York City-based indie mag features the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 22, nude and slathered in mud on its cover, and if readers can get past her posing with her pet pig Bubba Sue on the front, the inside pictures are even racier.
Released Tuesday, June 9, Paper‘s inside spread with Cyrus — interviewed for the “Use Your Voice” Summer Music Issue to promote her Happy Hippie non-profit — might just make even Kardashian blush. In the photographs, Cyrus can be seen — with dribs and drabs of body paint strategically covering her bits — contorting in yoga-like poses that show off her trim figure, belly button piercing, and tattoos.
Cyrus’ daring display of her bod isn’t the only thing of note in the spread. Chatting with Paper, Cyrus revealed how she told her mom, at age 14, that she was bisexual. “I remember telling her I admire women in a different way. And she asked me what that meant. And I said, I love them. I love them like I love boys,” Cyrus said of her conversation with mom Tish Cyrus. “And it was so hard for her to understand. She didn’t want me to be judged and she didn’t want me to go to hell. But she believes in me more than she believes in any god. I just asked for her to accept me. And she has.”
Also unsurprisingly, Cyrus opens up about her exhibitionism and desire to not conform to one sexual identity. “I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” the singer, who has dated the likes of Patrick Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth, confirmed.
“Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.”
“As long as you’re not hurting anyone,” the star said, “your choices are your choices.”
When it comes to dishing on her wild life outside of the romance department, Cyrus is even more forward about her lack of modesty. “I was doing a show two nights ago, and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I’m standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly. How the f–k is that fair?” mused Cyrus. “How am I so lucky?”
