This. Is. Everything! Not only did Eddie Redmayne admit he’s a fan of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, but he did so in front of openly obsessed fan Jennifer Lawrence and it’s safe to say she freaked out.
“I come home from trying to pretend to know about astronomy and physics all day and turn on The Real Housewives,” Redmayne said, after explaining to the Hunger Games star how difficult it was to transform into Stephen Hawking for his Golden Globe-winning role in The Theory of Everything.
“Oh my god…I feel like I’m going to cry,” Lawrence then exclaimed to the British star, who she was interviewing for the magazine’s February 2015 issue. “I’ve been a closet lover of faux-reality TV since The Hills,” he admitted. “It’s bad.”
“We’re making a breakthrough,” Lawrence added, before explaining her borderline obsession with the franchise. “I went to Pump the other night to meet [owner and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star] Lisa Vanderpump and I had her sign a bottle of vodka,” Lawrence recalled. ”And when she gave it to my friend who was with me at the Oscars, my friend said, ‘Jennifer, this is so much better than the Oscars!’ We took so many pictures with her. We were like, ‘Puerto Rico was a witch hunt. Brandi [Glanville] and Kyle [Richards] were so mean!’”
The amazingness didn’t stop there, either.
Lawrence then asked Redmayne, “What’s your favorite s—tty reality TV show?” to which he replied, “I’m a bit vintage. I go back to The Hills. Occasionally Audrina [Patridge] or Whitney [Port] will be on a website that I shouldn’t be looking at, and I’m like, ‘You know, I just want to check that they’re doing all right, because it’s my youth.’”
The two also discussed The Hunger Games and getting fat on press tours, but nothing can top this convo.
