Josh Duggar continues to have his wife Anna Duggar’s support. On Tuesday, June 23, the 19 Kids and Counting star, who admitted to inappropriately touching his sisters when he was a teen, posted a celebratory Instagram in honor of his wife’s birthday and their seven-year engagement anniversary. His proposal and her acceptance were filmed for TLC’s popular reality series, which has not yet been canceled despite his molestation scandal.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife @annaduggar…we're also celebrating our 7 year engagement anniversary today!” the controversial TLC star, 27, captioned a photo of himself with his wife and a sundae topped with a candle.

After news broke that Josh had inappropriately touched five underage girls, including four sisters, 27-year-old Anna stuck by his side. "I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock," she wrote in a statement in May, referring to when Josh confessed his actions to her two years before their wedding. "When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn't know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even every difficult past mistakes."

"[I know] who Josh really is – someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended,” she continued. “Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right."

Josh’s parents, Michelle and Jim Bob, along with his siblings, have also stuck by his side. During an emotional sit-down interview with Fox’s Megyn Kelly, Jill and Jessa Duggar admitted they were two of Josh’s victims but they have since forgiven him. “I’m not going to justify anything that he did or say it was okay. It's not permissible. But I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist," Jessa stated, while Jill added: “We've already forgiven Josh. We've moved on."
