“Someone’s broken into my house,” a fearful Bullock can be heard telling the police. “I’m hiding in the closet.”

When asked by a dispatcher if the intruder was still in the house, Bullock breathlessly added, “Yes, yes they are. I just saw them walk up into the attic… It was a man. I’m locked in my closet. I have a safe door in my bedroom. I’ve locked it and I’m locked in the closet right now.”

According to the Associated Press, a police officer involved in the case also testified in the hearing, telling the judge that Corbett had on him a notebook dedicated to Bullock, full of photos of the actress and a letter he had written to her.

The officer added that when the LAPD arrived on the scene and arrested Corbett, he said, “I’m sorry. I love you Sandy.” The AP reports that Bullock will likely stay away from the courtroom during the preliminary hearing of Corbett. He has pleaded not guilty to a variety of charges including burglary and stalking.
