Baby on the way! Andy Murray and his wife, Kim Sears, are expecting their first child together, his rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The British tennis star, 28, married Sears, 27, just this past April, exchanging vows with the artist nearly 10 years after they started dating. Now the newlyweds are expanding their family.
Sears is due in February and reportedly completed her 12-week scan recently. Murray spoke of the possibility of kids in his future after news broke of his November 2014 engagement to Sears.
"We've been together like nine-and-a-half years and we've lived together for six or seven years as well, so I don't think a whole lot's going to change," he told BBC Sport this past March. "I kind of feel like we have been married already in terms of the way we spend our lives together and live together. I think I will be more nervous about starting a family because that would be more life-changing, in a good way."
The longtime lovebirds tied the knot at the UK's Dunblane Cathedral on April 11, and fêted their union with a glam reception at the nearby Cromlix House. Sears wore a gorgeous Jenny Packham dress for the celebratory affair, while Murray donned a traditional tartan kilt.
The future dad's tennis career has been as busy as ever with regular trips to big tournaments such as June's French Open and July's Wimbledon Championships.
