She’s definitely trying to keep up! Marlene Chinea, a nurse from Florida, may just be the ultimate Kim Kardashian fan, as she underwent a $10,000 Brazilian butt lift specifically to try to re-create the reality star’s famous derriere.

“No matter how much exercise I did, I’d never get the results I wanted,” Chinea, 36, told the Daily Mail. “I was OK with my bum before, but I thought a little more would accentuate my assets. I simply wanted more projection.”
Naturally, she had only one inspiration in mind. “I modeled my butt on Kim Kardashian,” she said. “Kim is simply beautiful, and anything she wears looks fabulous on her.”
So what exactly did the surgery, performed by Dr. Michael Salzhauer (a.k.a. “Dr. Miami”), call for? Chinea gained 20 pounds so that it could be removed and, ultimately, transferred to her butt. (Four pounds of it, at least.)

While the Floridian confessed that she was “excited, anxious, nervous, happy and scared” before the surgery, she’s more than pleased with the results. “People are curious and want to know everything about my journey. Overall life is good and I am happy,” Chinea said. “I’ve also received plenty of attention from both sexes — not just guys.”
