All love. A new clip from the upcoming Keeping Up With the Kardashians special “About Bruce” debuted on Thursday, May 14, and it highlights the special bond that Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner will always have.
The intimate footage premiered on the Today show ahead of the two-part event on Sunday, May 17, and Monday, May 18. The teaser opens with vintage personal footage from April 21, 1991, when Bruce and Kris exchanged vows. The two are shown tying the knot, kissing as they are pronounced husband and wife.
“We had so much in common that it was kind of a match made in heaven,” Kris, 59, reflected in the video of her more than 20-year relationship with Bruce. “We went to races. We played golf. We went snow skiing. I mean, there wasn’t anything we didn’t do, and we could not keep our hands off each other.”
The two reality stars, who parted ways last September, are then shown posing for wedding photos with their expansive brood. Bruce, now 65, jokes about the number of little ones as he sidles up to kids including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian. The swanky ceremony was the second wedding for Kris, who was previously married to the late Robert Kardashian, and the third for Bruce, who was married to Chrystie Crownover in the 1970s and Linda Thompson in the 1980s.
“I love those times,” Bruce said in the special of the years he spent with Kris. “You know, Kris is a really good woman and I love her to death. And the love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming.”
Kris also voiced her affection for Bruce as he makes his gender transition in an interview with Us Weekly earlier this week. “[The] family’s doing great, and Bruce is doing great. And everybody’s super supportive,” she told Us on Tuesday, May 12, at Kelly Rutherford’s Children’s Justice Campaign event in Beverly Hills. “[I’m] really happy for him.”
