This isn’t going to end well. Bethenny Frankel went on a Twitter rant against Kmart employees on Friday, January 22. The Skinny Girl founder was seemingly frustrated with the staff members’ inability to speak English.
“Wow @Kmart has 2 registers open w 5 other employees standing around & two speak no English whatsoever. Shoes are sapatos right?” the Real Housewives of New York City star tweeted. (She misspelled the Spanish word “zapatos,” which means “shoes.”) “Not even attempting kids' snow boots in spanish,” the mom of Bryn, 5, added.
Her tweets didn’t go over very well with her followers.
“Wow bethenny never took you as a racist,” one follower commented on her tweet, while another added: “What a bitch!”
Others offered shopping tips: “@Bethenny go to @Target,” one suggested.
Frankel may have also put herself in hot water with Walmart, as another fan pointed out: “You cant shop at Kmart after the huge #Walmart deal you just signed!"
Frankel’s Skinny Girl products, including her skincare line and newly released gluten-free bars, are available at Walmart.
