Break out the friendship bracelets! Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson, they of the famous 2015 Golden Globes butt grabbing, spotted each other on the Atlanta set of Mother’s Day on Friday, Sept. 11—and there could not have been a warmer greeting between the two!
When the rom-com queens spied each other, each lady (both in short shorts) opened her arms wide and went in for a bear hug. Look at Hudson’s toothy grin!
Of course, it wasn’t just a casual reunion for the beauties. Aniston, who just tied the knot with longtime love Justin Theroux, and Hudson soon had to part and get to work, starting by getting into costume.
For her yet-to-be-disclosed role in the film, Hudson slipped into a pinstriped button-up shirt, white skinny jeans, and camel slip-ons. Rising actress Britt Robertson, who was often snapped by her side, modeled a burgundy tank top, jeans, and ankle booties.
Meanwhile, Aniston rocked workout clothing for the second time. The Friends alum donned a slate twist-back tank top, a strappy sports bra, and figure-flattering yoga pants, all of which helped to highlight her incredibly toned frame.
Hudson and Aniston join an ensemble cast that includes Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis, and Shay Mitchell. The film’s set to drop right around the titular holiday, in May 2016.
