Strict fashion rules! Jessica Simpson has a few style guidelines she won’t deviate from — even in extreme water sports. Number one: Wear a sultry mini on date nights. And rule two: Never stop wearing heels. Like, ever.
While in NYC on Tuesday, Sept. 8, Simpson, 35, and hubby Eric Johnson, 35, celebrated the 10th anniversary of her fashion line on a date night and the singer made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Dressing up for a romantic meal with her husband of one year, the “I Belong to Me” singer rocked a skintight, multicolored minidress that hugged her svelte figure and highlighted her super toned legs. She paired the striped tank dress with a black and white patterned clutch and nude platform heels.
But accentuating her curves on date night isn’t the only rule the mom to Maxwell, 3, and Ace, 2, follows. “I never take off a heel,” the blonde bombshell told Fallon earlier that same day. “I get more grip with ’em!”
Simpson even shared a few photos with the audience of the show of her riding a jet ski with black ankle-strap heels on.
Simpson’s daughter, Maxwell, is also quickly following in her mother’s footsteps — literally. In a photo Simpson shared, the toddler is sporting a pair of heeled equestrian boots while horseback riding. “She’s wearing her first heels, which is very impressive. She’s like, ‘Like Mama!'” Simpson said.
