It's a small world after all! Chris Brown ended up in the same room with not one but two of his exes on Sunday, June 28, when he performed at the 2015 BET Awards for an audience that included former flames Rihanna and Karrueche Tran.
The "Ayo" hitmaker, 26, took the stage twice at Sunday's event, singing first with Tyga and Omarion, and later with Nicki Minaj. During the earlier performance, Rihanna was caught on camera singing along to her ex's lyrics.
The "Bitch Better Have My Money" songstress, 27, appeared to be enjoying Brown's show despite her rocky history with the star, who was famously arrested in 2009 after physically assaulting her before the Grammys. They got back together a few years later — but Brown was also dating 27-year-old Tran at the time.
The model walked the red carpet solo on Sunday night, rocking white hair, a black bralette, and a beaded snakeskin jacket. An onlooker tells Us she had a "big smile on her face" and blew kisses to the crowd as she passed by.
Tran split from Brown earlier this year amid news that he'd recently fathered a child, a daughter named Royalty, with another woman. After their breakup, she told radio program Real 92.3 that she was actively trying to avoid any run-ins with her ex.
"I make it so we don't have to cross paths so it's not awkward," she explained in May. "But I do get on Instagram and there's people tagging us, or I'll hear a song or something… I kind of just have to block it out."
Somewhat surprisingly, she has friendlier feelings toward her former romantic rival, Rihanna.
"We just dated the same guy, and that's kind of what it is," Tran said of the "FourFive Seconds" singer. "It's always a competition thing and they compare us, but she is Rihanna. She's a pop star and she's beautiful and she makes great music, and I'm just me and I'm growing and working into myself. You can't compare us because we're two completely different girls."
