Katniss and arrows and Snow, oh my! Katniss Everdeen is out for blood in the latest trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 — and it’s not looking pretty for President Snow. In the just-released teaser, Jennifer Lawrence’s heroine straps on her bow and arrow and prepares for war with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) and Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth).
With the districts now in shambles, Katniss’ want for change and revenge is even fiercer thanks to President Snow’s (Donald Sutherland) patronizing words. “I’ve been watching you. And you watching me,” he says in the clip. “My dear Miss Everdeen, make no mistake. The game is coming to its end.”
But that’s what he thinks.
The people’s Mockingjay riles up the troops and is ready to take down The Capitol. (No more white roses, Snow, thanks!)
“We’ve got one shot,” Katniss says. “Tonight, turn your weapons to The Capitol. Turn your weapons to Snow!”
Peeta adds: “Our lives were never ours. They belong to Snow and our deaths do, too. But if you kill him, Katniss, if you end all of this — all those deaths — they mean something.”
The Francis Lawrence-directed movie also stars Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters on Nov. 20, 2015.
