Lamar Odom spent $75,000 on his stay inside the Nevada brothel where he was found unconscious this week, according to Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof.
“Well, you can spend as little or as much as you want,” Hof told Wendy Williams on Thursday, Oct. 15. “You can spend a few hundred or a few million there. Lamar wanted a long period of time. He gave the girls $75,000 but he planned on being there a long time, at least five days. He called and wanted me to come down, we were going to have [a] little birthday party for me, so it would have ended up being like 10 days by the time he left.”
Hof claimed that he was explicit with Odom, 35 — who has a history of substance abuse — about drug use being forbidden on the brothel’s grounds. “Celebrities come to me for privacy and discretion and then all of a sudden we have a terrible terrible incident and we’re all very sad,” he shared. “Everybody knows his history. He promised he wouldn’t have any.”
The ranch owner also said he trusted Odom not to bring cocaine to the brothel. “He was very honest, he said, ‘I’ve been partying in Vegas. I had done some coke on Saturday. I didn’t bring any with me out of respect to Dennis and his business,'” Hof said. “I want to take him at his word, although we all know that drug addicts lie. I just hoped that he was honest and that wasn’t the cause of it, because he doesn’t need his name ruined any more. He’s a wonderful guy. Everybody at my place just loved him. He’s entertaining, he’s fun, he’s sensitive. They can’t say one bad word about Lamar.”
Herbal Viagra, meanwhile — provided to Odom during his stay at the ranch — was readily available in the area, Hof claimed. “Yeah, and every gas station, truck stop. It’s very common, an herbal supplement is what it is. It makes people…gives them energy,” the business owner said. “They call it an ED thing but I think it’s more about energy, it’s like doing multiple energy drinks at the same time in my mind.” (An expert told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the substance could be deadly when mixed with alcohol or other drugs.)
Odom was found unconscious in his VIP suite on Tuesday, Oct. 13, after checking into the brothel on Saturday. While he remains in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, the former NBA player’s estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, is executing all medical decisions, a source has confirmed to Us.
As reported, Kardashian also arranged travel for Odom’s family members to be by his side, including his dad, Joe Odom, ex Liza Morales, and their two kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr.
