Seriously, we can’t get over this! It makes sense that daughters look like their parents, but the resemblance between Kaia Gerber and her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford, is just uncanny.
We were struck by their twinning nature once more while Gerber attended Teen Vogue‘s Young Hollywood event in L.A. on Oct. 2.
No matter which angle you look at the 14-year-old daughter of Rande Gerber and the ’90s legend, she looks like her mom’s mini-me. Bold brows? Check. Gorgeous face? Yep. Luscious brown locks? Indeed. Age-appropriate designer LBD by Halston? Obviously.
And Kaia loves sharing the spotlight too. She brought her (equally good-looking) brother, Presley Gerber, 16, with her to the teen fashion mag-hosted red carpet. Just to hammer home Crawford’s strong genes, Presley even shares the supermodel’s signature beauty mark, right above his lip.
It’s a natural step for Kaia to pursue modeling in her mother’s footsteps. But in a recent interview between the mother-daughter pair, Crawford, 49, revealed that photo shoots will only happen as long as Kaia is still happy — and still allowed to be a child. “Your dad and I want you to be happy — whatever that may mean — so if modeling is something you like and want to continue, I can provide a road map and help you make good choices,” she told her daughter. “But we also want to preserve your childhood and let you be a 14-year-old when you’re 14. There’s no rush.”
