Kramer Impersonator Visits Hulu’s Seinfeld Apartment, Promptly Breaks It

Giddy up! A man named Tim McGeever did his best Kramer impression on Wednesday, June 24, when he visited Hulu’s Seinfeld apartment, and left quite the lasting mark.

McGeever shared a video of his experience via YouTube, documenting the moment when he broke the recreation of the famed pad on its opening day.

“I came, I saw, I broke (by accident!),” McGeever wrote in the video’s description. “You might say I took my Kramer impression one step too far at Hulu’s #seinfeldapartment… within hours of opening. Enjoy my spin-crash humiliation!”

The quick clip shows McGeever hastily opening the door and attempting to crash through the apartment in the same way that Kramer (Michael Richards) does when visiting Jerry Seinfeld. The visitor committed to the role a little too much, however, and knocked part of the frame off of the door.

Hulu, which set up the apartment in honor of Seinfeld‘s recent arrival on the streaming service, found a way to repair the door and continue the apartment tours. The brand continued to tweet the pop-up’s downtown Manhattan location on Thursday, inviting “Seinfans” to take a seat on the trademark couch.
