All grown up! Ariel Winter dared to bare in a low-cut, body-hugging white dress in celebration of Easter on Sunday, March 27. The 18-year-old actress simply captioned the shot with “#HappyEaster!” and a rabbit and candy emojis.
In the stunning picture, which she shared via Instagram, the Modern Family actress looks poised and elegant in the Bombshell V Neck Dress by Nookie seated in a plush armchair in front of a sunny window, with heavy curtains drawn to the side.
Her (recently dyed!) red hair is half tied up, with the rest hanging loosely around her shoulders.
Just three days earlier, the teen star shared a similarly grown-up snapshot of herself being tattooed on her stomach.
“About last night …” she captioned the photo, along with a devil emoji.
Winter has been open about her views on body image and about the changes she’s made to her own body as well, having undergone breast reduction surgery last June.
In January, Winter showed off her scars in a revealing strapless, backless gown at the 2016 SAG Awards.
“Guys there is a reason I didn’t make an effort to cover up my scars!” she tweeted after fans speculated that the star had an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. “They are part of me and I’m not ashamed of them at all. :)”
And earlier this month, the actress defended Kim Kardashian after the reality star’s nude selfie took the Internet by storm.
“I think she’s promoting body positivity,” she told Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O on March 24. “Young girls being able to express that they don’t have a stick-thin body — they’re curvy. And stick-thin bodies are amazing … and I think that everybody’s body should be celebrated no matter what it is.”
