‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Recap: Kyle Richards Says Lisa Vanderpump Makes Her Look Like a ‘F–king Abused Wife’

The Dubai drama continues! Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna got into yet another public fight about Manipulation & Munchausen during the Tuesday, April 5, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Yolanda Foster gave viewers an update on Kim Richards, and had some surprising things to say about her recovery.

Other than that, this episode basically involved the ladies driving around in tiny golf carts and trying not to get arrested. Ya know, the usual.

Is It Too Late Now to Say Sorry?

Jaws = dropped! Lisa Vanderpump did the unthinkable and apologized to Eileen Davidson for comments she made in the Hamptons, saying, “I totally never intended to hurt you, and I’m really sorry for that.”

But wait, does this really count as an apology, or is Vanderpump only sorry she hurt Eileen’s feelings? “I told her what I wanted her to hear to make the situation better,” the British restaurateur admitted to her friends. “I meant, ‘I’m sorry I upset you because I don’t want you to be upset.'”

Er, that kinda counts?

Update: Kim Richards Isn’t in a Good Place

While the ladies yukked it up (by which we mean yelled at each other) in Dubai, Yolanda hung out with her former Housewife pals, Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville. Despite having a fab time, Yolanda told cameras that Kim’s going through a rough patch.

“It is a disease. It’s not her choice,” Yolanda said. “She’s done really great for three years, and she’s in a rough patch right now. I just always say to Kim, ‘I love you, and I’m here for you.’ You don’t just shove somebody on the side because they failed in their sobriety.”

Yolanda’s concerning comments aside, Kim seemed just fine, telling her friends, “It’s just all about today for me. I don’t look back at all. Too much of looking back consumes you with guilt and shame, and then you find yourself in the same situation.”

Battles of the Lisas, Part IV

Rinna has a new theory, everyone! Apparently, the former soap star thinks Vanderpump and Yolanda loathe each other, and their fight for power is dragging everyone else through the mud. “Lisa Vanderpump and Yolanda hate each other so much that they are willing to do anything to get at each other,” Rinna mused. “I think we were all pawns in the game. … Two highly narcissistic individuals who are battling it out to be the queen.”

Weirdly, Kyle Richards seemed to agree with this theory, telling cameras, “Lisa Vanderpump and Yolanda absolutely have an issue with each other. Is that why, maybe, Lisa wanted the word Munchausen to get out — but for someone else to say it?”

Either way, Rinna confronted her name twin about her issues with Yolanda, and Vanderpump had no problem admitting that there was tension brewing thanks to Yo’s dislike for Ken (a.k.a. Lisa’s dog-obsessed husband). “When your partner’s really hurting, you kinda feel for them too,” Vanderpump said in her defense. “It’s like, he’s my man.”

Kyle Finally Confronts Lisa Vanderpump

Before we get into this week’s RHOBH dinner from hell, let’s recap the issue at hand: Rinna thinks Vanderpump tried to throw Kyle under the bus by linking her name to the Munchausen drama.

But, despite Vanderpump being “caught red-handed” by Kyle herself (who kinda-sorta confirmed the manipulative behavior during last week’s episode), the fashion entrepreneur refused to throw shade at her friend. The result of Kyle’s solidarity? Eileen flipped out, banged the table and left in a huff. But the good news is that her departure inspired everyone else to peace out, giving Kyle and Vanderpump a chance to talk.

“You’re putting me in a bad position because I’m having to lie when I’m the subject,” Kyle told her BFF. “If you thought that I was f–king you over, you wouldn’t lie. … I look like an idiot. I look like a f–king abused wife with a black eye that says, ‘Oh, I fell down the stairs.'”

Despite Kyle repeatedly asking Lisa to admit she was being manipulative, the Queen B stuck to her guns and refused to apologize. “What would be the point of saying, ‘Drag Kyle into it’?” she asked. “I don’t like that accusation.”

Oh, also, this entire dramafest went down on Kathryn Edwards‘ birthday. Happy birthday, girl — hope it was a great one!

Eileen Busts Out Some Meme-Worthy Sass

You’d think Elieen would have had enough drama for the night, but nope. She decided to get snarky with Kathryn after the birthday girl made the mistake of advising her not to get involved in Vanderpump and Kyle’s private conversation.

Here’s what went down: First, Eileen aggressively shushed Kathryn. Then Kathryn was all, “Don’t shhh me!” Then Eileen was like, “Don’t tell me what to do,” and Kathryn responded, “Really?” And Eileen shot back, “Yeah.” So yes, it was pretty epic.

And again: Happy birthday, Kathryn!

Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards Kiss, Make Up and Mock Lisa Rinna

Here’s the good news: Vanderpump and Kyle agreed to put their issues on hold (which Kyle seemed far more comfortable with than Vanderpump, BTW), and instead bonded up a storm by complaining about Rinna. “She doesn’t say anything, she’s nice and then she loses it,” Kyle said while getting glam.

Vanderpump’s snarky response? “Uh, yes, she lost it, and I don’t think she’ll be finding it anytime soon.”

Damn! Lisa V. always gets the last word.
