John Travolta, Ellen DeGeneres Teach His Daughter Ella, 16, How to Parallel Park: Hilarious Video

Oh, the memories! John Travolta’s 16-year-old daughter, Ella, recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she received a surprise driving lesson from her famous father and DeGeneres herself. The fun basically stopped there.

The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story actor, 62, was joined on Ellen by his wife, Kelly Preston, and their not-so-little girl, who supported Travolta from the audience. Naturally, Ellen embarrassed the teen with a plethora of questions about dating (she’s not), her friends (“I don’t ask anything about what they say or do with each other,” Travolta quipped) and, of course, driving lessons.

“So, we’re gonna use my car …” DeGeneres told Ella as producers panned over to a bulky, retro, lime green vehicle. “It’s an easy car to, uh, parallel park. So let’s all go out there. I’m gonna get in the car with you!”

The trio wandered outside the studio, and Ella got in the driver’s seat, while her dad and the comic took the backseat. “Is it safer for me to be back behind her or on the other side?” DeGeneres quipped as they buckled up in the car. Then, it got tense.

Ella started to back the car into its appropriate spot but got dangerously close to a red Hyundai. “You’re doing great, honey. Look at this, look at my genius girl,” her dad said while DeGeneres and the audience members seemed slightly more concerned.
