Not a train wreck — just a friendly onlooker! Amy Schumer made a pit stop to crash a couple's engagement photo shoot while running in NYC's Central Park recently, and it was just as hilarious as it sounds. The frame-worthy snapshot went viral on Tuesday, June 9, when the comedian shared it via Instagram.
"Beautiful engagement photo ruined by yours truly," Schumer, 34, captioned the photobomb. Photographer Alisa Siegel reveals to Us Weekly that the star interrupted the photo shoot and asked to jump in. While future spouses Joseph Turnage and Brandon Moore coordinated in slick button-ups, makeup-free Schumer wore workout pants and a tank top, and still had her headphones in.
"We were taking engagement photos and ending the day in Central Park near the reservoir on 86th street on the East Side. As we are snapping photos, someone running by [all of a] sudden screams, 'Oh my God, are you guys taking engagement photos? Lemme get in one!' I thought it was a little weird but I said yes anyways," Siegel told Us.
She added: "She took off her sunglasses, we snapped a quick pic, and right after she says, 'You guys know I'm like reeeal famous.' I take another look it hit me that it was Amy Schumer! We all cracked up, and then she continued on her afternoon jog in Central Park."
Turnage and Moore were taken aback, too. "They were just as stunned," Siegel explained. "I think we were all in shock that it had actually happened."
Schumer, of course, previously photobombed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at the Time 100 Gala in NYC on April 21. The rapper didn't look pleased when she purposely threw herself on the red carpet in front of them.
