Italian artist Alexsandro Palombo edited images of Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and other stars to make them appear bruised and battered as part of a new domestic violence PSA ad campaign.

The reality star, 35, and her younger half-sister, 20, appear bloodied and beat up in the photos for the “Break the Silence” campaign.

“Life can be a fairy tale, if you break the silence” is the tagline that appears on the eight ads — which also feature Madonna, Angelina Jolie, and Gywneth Paltrow in disturbing images.

Beneath the photos, the hashtag #stopviolenceagainstwomen appears.

Palombo’s campaign isn’t the only one drawing attention to the cause, though. Lady Gaga also recently created a music video to raise awareness about domestic violence against women.

In September, the pop star, 29, released a video for her single, “Til It Happens To You,” which focused on college campus rape and sexual assault. The emotional black-and-white video depicted women being assaulted at fraternity parties and in their dorm rooms.
