Less than a week to go! Blake Shelton has announced that he and girlfriend Gwen Stefani will be taking the stage during next week’s episode of The Voice to perform their duet for the first time!
“SOOO.… I’m performing next week on @NBCTheVoice,” the 39-year-old country star wrote via Twitter on Tuesday, April 3, “I’m performing with @gwenstefani. We’re performing a song off my album we wrote together.”

Stefani, 46, was the first to confirm rumors of a musical collaboration when she tweeted a picture of the cover art for Shelton’s new album, If I’m Honest.
“Look what I found lying round the house! 🙄#ispymyname #goaheadandbreakmyheart💔 @blakeshelton #eeeekkkk! #crazy!😝 Gx,” she wrote back in April.
And now the duo is gearing up to let their fans in on what Shelton describes as their “very personal” duet.
“This song was important to us and the fact that we wrote it together is so important to both of us because, you know, I’m insecure about my writing,” Blake told Us Weekly at the Voice Karaoke for Charity event last month. “And I think Gwen has a smaller circle, too, when it comes to writing. The fact that we went there that early, you know, as we were getting to know each other, it’s remarkable.“
The next episode of The Voice airs Monday, May 9.
