In the video, the boy, dubbed “#watermelonboy” on social media, chomps into the large fruit with zeal, eating right through the rind as though it were an apple.

The boy was later identified as the son of radio host Tony Schibeci, who documented the last stages of the watermelon noshing via his own Twitter account.
