Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has a troubling past with her ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, but it seems like Rogers is trying to turn his life around. In a new trailer for the documentary from Wilmington, N.C., local news station WECT, In Vein: Hooked on Heroin, Rogers shares details from his longtime battle with drug addiction.
“I’m not exaggerating when I say that there are 110 people I could go to to buy heroin from in this town,” he says in the clip.
In December 2012, Rogers and Evans surprised fans by tying the knot, shortly after they started dating. But things quickly took a dangerous turn when the Teen Mom was arrested in April 2013 for heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault. Rogers was also charged with assault and possession of heroin with the intent to manufacture, sell, and distribute.
The pair officially divorced in June 2014 after the mandatory year of separation due to North Carolina state law. Evans then moved on to her fiancé Nathan Griffith, but after more assault charges and legal drama, the pair split this summer for the second time. She is currently dating boyfriend David Eason.
