No shame. A man in Las Vegas shocked a TV reporter with his honesty when he revealed what he would do with the money if he won the mega Powerball jackpot this weekend.
Fox 5 News reporter Ophelia Young explained to the lotto hopeful that his odds of winning the prize, now up to $800 million, were one in 292 million. She then asked him what he’d do with the cash if he won.
“Bunch of hookers and cocaine,” he said, shocking Young into a fit of nervous giggles. “Oh!” she exclaimed, adding, “That’s not good. We were hoping for a different answer.”
This weekend’s Powerball, if won, would be the biggest-ever lottery prize in U.S. history. The Powerball is being drawn Saturday, Janaury 9, at 10:59 p.m. EST, after Wednesday’s $500 million-plus jackpot went unwon.
