James Corden Slams David Schwimmer in ‘Drop the Mic,’ Rebel Wilson Joins In

No!!! Poor Ross from Friends!!

James Corden and David Schwimmer went head-to-head in an amazing game of “Drop the Mic” on The Late Late Show on Thursday, May 26 — and results were something to behold.

After Corden’s rap battle with Anne Hathaway two days ago, we were expecting some light hearted banter. But Corden held no punches as he let rip on the former Friends star — slamming his lack of fame, range and supposed has-been status.

“Let me introduce you to this guy, his name is David, he was famous in ’95,” Corden started. “He was a Kardashian on TV but that was only pretend,” he went on, while Schwimmer looked on, deadpan, at his assailant.

After a few more low blows, Corden prepared to hand over the mic to his competitor. “Now you’ve got a chance to prove you’ve got balls, while I ignore you like Jennifer Aniston does your calls!”

Whoa!! To be fair, Schwimmer, 49, held his own with a retort, calling Corden on his figure, and saying he’s not exactly well known. But rather than slay his opponent, it just added fire to Corden’s attack.

“Come on David Schwimmer, how are you such a loser when your name rhymes with winner? You’re so well known that every role that you play, I’m like, ‘Hey, I didn’t know Ross from Friends knew O.J.‘!” he blasted.

Ending with a sample of Schwimmer’s famous “I’ll be there for you” theme tune from his hit TV show, viewers thought that Schwimmer had taken all the slams he could face. But then Rebel Wilson burst onto the scene.

Watch the video above and see how she managed to put both Schwimmer and Corden firmly in their place (her dig about Carpool Karaoke is a total knockout!)
