Liam Neeson Says the Late Natasha Richardson Serenaded Him at Their Wedding

Extra love for Liam.

Liam Neeson opened up about his late wife, actress Natasha Richardson, during a recent radio interview with SiriusXM's My Favorite Song with John Benjamin Hickey.

The Taken actor, 63, recalled how Richardson serenaded him at their 1994 nuptials. The special tune? Their wedding song, Van Morrison's 1970 hit "Crazy Love."

"Behind my back, Natasha had been taking singing lessons to sing it to me," Neeson explained. "After the ceremony, we were all going in to start the night's festivities, and she grabbed the microphone, and she sang me this. I was like, 'Wow.'"

Richardson died at the age of 45 in March 2009. She suffered a head injury when she fell during a skiing lesson and was admitted to New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital the following day after she complained of a headache. Hours later, she died from brain swelling.

Neeson and the Parent Trap star met when they both starred in the Broadway show Anna Christie in the 1990s. They had two kids together, sons Micheál, 20, and Daniel, 19.
