New couple alert? Selma Blair and famed music producer David Foster were spotted eating dinner together at Craig’s in West Hollywood on Tuesday, March 1. The meeting between the actress and estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Yolanda Foster wasn’t just friends grabbing food; it was indeed a romantic date, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
“It was definitely a date!” a source tells Us of Blair, 43, and Foster, 66, taking in some alone time at the upscale West Hollywood eatery.
Joining the unexpected twosome mid-meal for a brief chat, according to Radar? None other than Caitlyn Jenner, the former spouse of Kris Jenner — currently portrayed (in her younger years) by Blair on FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. (Foster’s estranged wife, Yolanda, 52, remains close with Kris.)
But there are even more uncanny connections. Prior to her 24-year marriage with Kris, 60, Caitlyn was wed to Foster’s second wife, Linda Thompson, from 1981 to 1986. The Grammy winner and Thompson, 65, married in 1991, and Foster briefly became stepdad to Caitlyn and Thompson¹s sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner, until the couple divorced in 2005.
Blair is the first woman Foster has been seen stepping out with following his December 2015 split from RHOBH standout Yolanda, who he was married to for four years.
“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways,” the former couple told Us Weekly in a joint statement at the time. “We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”
Until now, Blair has been living the single life since her 2012 split from Jason Bleick, who she shares her 4-year-old son with, Arthur Saint.
