Hollywood's celebs were quick to respond to President Barack Obama's final State of the Union address, which he gave on Tuesday, January 12 — and something makes Us think they approved!

Jumping on Twitter in the moments that followed Obama's important speech, both mere mortals and A-list celebs were giving the president a virtual thumbs-up.

Amongst topics of terrorism and global warming, Obama addressed Donald Trump's anti-Muslim rhetoric. "When politicians insult Muslims, when a mosque is vandalized, or a kid bullied, that doesn’t make us safer," The 54-year-old politician insisted during his hour-long address. "That’s not telling it like it is. It’s just wrong. It diminishes us in the eyes of the world. It makes it harder to achieve our goals. And it betrays who we are as a country."

Unsurprisingly, Trump wasn't a fan. "The #SOTU speech is really boring, slow, lethargic – very hard to watch!" he wrote via Twitter.

Other celebs disagreed.

But while the stars seemed pretty unanimous in their support for Obama's address, House Speaker Paul Ryan got a less positive reaction. The Republican party member kept a poker face through much of the President's speech, and refused to clap  even when others took to their feet for a standing ovation.

"“Seriously? You can not clap for curing cancer? You are that much of a whiner?” Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted.

“#PaulRyan your 'poker face' is a joke. For belonging to a party that prides itself on true ‘Patriotism' your face 2nite tells us otherwise,” added Zoe Saldana

But it was Bette Middler's reaction that won!
