Makin' waves! Blake Lively took to Instagram on Thursday, December 31, to share a photo from the picturesque set of her upcoming thriller The Shallows, in which she plays a woman stranded on a buoy being circled by a great white shark.
In the picture, the Gossip Girl alum, 28, shows off her long, toned legs — and a fake cut dripping with fake blood — in bikini bottoms paired with a wetsuit jacket. She appears to be standing (on one foot, no less!) on a rock in the ocean.
"No, I wasn't actually attacked by a shark," she wrote alongside the snapshot. "That definitely would've affected my 2015 …and my balance. #TheShallows #Movie #BehindTheScenes P.S. How rad did I feel for not falling off the rock for this pic…"
Lively — mom of daughter James, 12 months, with husband Ryan Reynolds — previously showed off her enviable physique in a colorful bikini while filming The Shallows this past October in Australia.
Due out next June, the movie is directed by Spain's Jaume Collet-Serra and also stars Oscar Jaenada.
