Goodbye and good luck? Pippa Middleton and her longtime boyfriend, Swiss banker Nico Jackson, have called it quits on their three-year relationship, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
“It was mostly due to geographical issues,” the source says. “They were rarely together since his move [to Switzerland] and it just caused too much strain on their relationship. They still love and respect each other.”
Middleton, 32, and Jackson, 37, were last spotted together in September, when they spent a date night out in London and displayed plenty of PDA.
The pair were rumored to have plans to walk down the aisle, but sources told Us in 2013 that an engagement was not in their immediate future.
News of the couple’s split comes just days after Kate Middleton’s younger sister was reportedly spending time with a few of her exes, including James Matthews, whom she dated back in 2012, and England cricketer and financier Alex Loudon.
She reportedly remains good friends with both men; Matthews joined the Celebrate author, her brother, James, and their mother, Carole, on a recent vacation to St. Barts.
