Her little darling! Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, best known for her role in the Oscar-winning flick Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, has welcomed her first child with her rocker husband, Wang Feng, she announced on Monday, December 28.
Ziyi, 36, posted an adorable pic to her Weibo, a Chinese social media website, of her hand and her husband’s hand holding their daughter’s tiny fingers. “December 27th, 2015,” the Memoirs of a Geisha actress captioned the snap in Mandarin.
“You, me, her … With the birth of this little life, we have our own family. Everything went safely and smoothly. Infinite gratitude!”
Her husband — a judge on China’s version of The Voice — then posted on his Weibo and wrote, “The dust settles, spring begins and flowers bloom.”
Ziyi’s manager subsequently confirmed to the Associated Press that she had welcomed her first child with her husband, 44, who proposed to the international superstar this past February. Feng delivered a diamond engagement ring to Ziyi on her birthday via a drone.
This is the third child for Feng, who shares two daughters, Apple and Jingyi, with his ex-wives Dan Qi and Zuoru Kang.
