Rock’n’roll royalty! Mark Ballas and his girlfriend, Brittany Jean Carlson (aka BC Jean), really outdid themselves for a Halloween party this year. The Dancing With the Stars pro went as the late Kurt Cobain while his longtime sweetheart transformed into Courtney Love.
Ballas, 29, and Carlson, 28, channeled the former couple while attending Maxim Magazine’s Halloween BASH in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Their costume mimicked what the Nirvana frontman and the Hole singer wore to the 1993 MTV Music Awards, at the height of their fame. (Cobain and Love were married for two years until the rocker’s suicide in 1994. They are parents to daughter Frances Bean, 23.)
The ABC star wore a striped top, jeans, and a fur coat, and rocked red nail polish. Carlson, meanwhile, donned a plunging white dress, a blonde wig, and added a pop of color with red lipstick.
“Kurt & Courtney vibes last night,” Ballas captioned an Instagram photo collage on Sunday. “She gets all the credit for this costume. You nailed it baby. #ipaintedmyownnailstho #maxim #maximhalloween.”
He added in a second pic: “#KurtandCourtney.”
