Johnny Depp’s fans are standing by the actor. Despite his ongoing legal battle with his estranged wife Amber Heard and rumors of a boycott at his latest Hollywood Vampires show, an eyewitness tells Us Weekly that the actor was surrounded by cheering fans at his Monday, May 30, performance at the Grona Lund Amusement Park in Stockholm.

According to the concertgoer, Depp “was met by huge cheers when he took to the stage” at the sold-out event, just days after his ex filed for a temporary restraining order against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 52.

“He seemed relaxed and looked to have a nice time,” photographer Janne Akesson adds to Us of Depp, who mingled with guests at an afterparty held at Cadier Bar at the Grand Hotel.

As previously reported, Heard filed for divorce from Depp on Monday, May 23, citing irreconcilable differences. On Friday, May 27, a judge granted the Danish Girl actress a temporary restraining order from the actor after she alleged that Depp physically assaulted her. While leaving the courthouse, she was spotted with what appeared to be a bruise on her face.

“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” his rep previously told Us. “Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.” (The Oscar-nominated star’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, died on May 20 at age 81.)

Following Heard’s accusations, Depp’s friends and family also rushed to his defense. His ex Vanessa Paradis penned a letter stating that the actor is “a sensitive, loving and loved person” and that she believes “these recent allegations being made are outrageous.”

Depp’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, argued that Heard is merely trying to secure financial gain. Heard’s lawyer, however, maintains that she has “suffered through years of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of Johnny” and that she didn’t speak out in an attempt to “keep this matter as private as possible.”
