Vanna White is shaking her head! Wheel of Fortune contestants may throw out silly answers or mispronounce a word, but nothing quite compares to what a woman recently did on the game show.
The doctor only had four letters missing when she tried to solve the super easy puzzle “Stars in the Night Sky.” However, that’s not the phrase that she shouted out.
“Start in the right way,” she said, changing the already revealed “night” to “right.”
Host Pat Sajak quipped back: “No, that is not correct.”
The woman’s fellow competitor Breanne then swooped in with the correct answer. Sajak, appearing amused, replied: “Yeahhh, that’s it.”
There’s been plenty more embarrassing flubs on the syndicated show. Last year, an Indiana University student botched his answer when he pronounced “Achilles” as “A-chill-us.”
