So sweet! Taylor Swift fulfilled her duties as maid of honor when she gave a beautiful speech at her best friend Britany Maack’s wedding on Saturday, February 20.
The beautiful bride shared a video compilation of footage from her wedding to Benjamin LaManna, which included part of Swift’s speech plus clips of the “Wildest Dreams” singer dancing and having the time of her life.
“He would chase her and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school, and their paths would diverge and then come back together,” Swift said of LaManna during her touching speech. “It would be so magically unpredictable, but at the same time, so incredibly fated, just like the best love stories are.”
She added, “Little did either of us know that Prince Charming for Britany would be the kid that sat next to me in class with a bowl cut and a Lego lunchbox,” as the happy couple laughed.

According to a source, the Grammy winner was “a great maid of honor and made every effort to help Britany with whatever she needed. They were so happy and Taylor looked like she was in awe of how beautiful Britany looked.”
Also in the video, Swift is seen rocking out to Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” before taking the stage herself to sing with some of the other wedding guests.
