The secret ingredient for the 43-year-old Oscar winner's smoothie — which she makes every morning whether she’s detoxing or not — is Moon Juice moon dust, sold in the Goop Shop, that costs between $55 to $65 a jar. Paltrow, 43, suggests adding one teaspoon of your choice of dust, depending on what the day holds. The recipe explains the benefits of the different varieties of Moon Juice: “Action Dust to soothe overworked muscles, Beauty Dust for a glowy complexion and healthy hair, Brain Dust to combat mental fogginess, Goodnight Dust when sleep has been evasive, Sex Dust, for, you know, and Spirit Dust to get that extrasensory perception going.”

Some other ingredients in the recipe are ho shou wu (a Chinese herb),  ashwagandha (another herb), cordyceps (a parasitic fungus), maca (a root vegetable) and a vanilla mushroom protein powder. Combine those with more typical healthy smoothie ingredients such as almond milk, almond butter and coconut oil, add a pinch of Himalayan sea salt and vanilla powder, and voilà — you’ve created Gwyneth’s breakfast concoction.

With the expensive moon dust, the $35-a-jar vanilla mushroom powder and the $17 ashwagandha, the total for all the ingredients adds up to a whopping $223, according to the Daily Mail. Although when it’s broken down by the day, Gwyneth’s concoction comes out to a more reasonable $10.52 a day, according to calculations by Vanity Fair.
