Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Autopsy Report to Be Unsealed 7 Months After Her Death

A judge in Atlanta issued an order to unseal the autopsy results for Bobbi Kristina Brown on Thursday, March 3, more than seven months after her death, according to USA Today. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk granted the request that was filed by media outlets.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner released a statement on their website the same day, stating they had not yet received authorization from the court indicating whether they can release the information, but it could become available as soon as Friday, March 4.

The lawyers representing the media argued that the results for the autopsy should be unsealed because there was no public notification or opportunity for a hearing. County authorities countered that it could put a still-unfinished investigation at risk.

In a statement, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said he believes the records should stay sealed, but he will follow the court order.
