Sunday was family fun day for Chris Brown and Kelly Clarkson! In Las Vegas to appear at the May 17 Billboard Music Awards, the stars proved that their parenting duties come first, as they each made their children a priority up until their performances.
Dad to 10-month-old daughter Royalty, Brown walked the red carpet at the MGM Grand with his little princess (wearing a mini denim jacket and the cutest pair of baby Timberlands) on his hip. Once inside, the pair parted ways so Brown, 26, could perform "Fun" alongside Pitbull.

"I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do," Brown wrote on Instagram on May 4, two months after it was revealed that Brown — who had a fling with Royalty's mom, model Nia Guzman, last year — was a dad. "I'm gonna give her the world."
Indeed, Brown has been making the most of his time with the new lady in his life. Brown's "You Changed Me" collaborator Jamie Foxx says the rapper is adjusting well to first-time fatherhood. "Chris Brown is a good father," Foxx told Jimmy Kimmel in April.
Brown wasn't the only one bonding with their little one backstage at the BBMAs. Prior to taking the stage to belt out her latest single, "Invincible," Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, doted on 11-month-old River Rose behind the scenes. "Rock 'n roll!" Clarkson, 33, captioned a sweet Instagram snap of the dolled-up star and Blackstock pushing River's stroller backstage.
Celebrating her first Mother's Day earlier this month, American Idol's inaugural champ says motherhood trumps any award or accolade she could receive. "My career inspires me but my family gives me this constant state of euphoria that is all consuming and ever growing and sometimes hard but completely worth it," said Clarkson, who is a proud stepmom to Blackstock's older children from a previous relationship.
