Chanel Carroll, aka YouTube user cdc1119, has perfectly summed up what it’s like to be turning 30, with the help of Adele’s record-breaking hit song “Hello.”

In the parody, the funnywoman changes the Grammy-winning artist’s emotional lyrics to poke fun at scenarios that likely hit close to home for any twentysomething dealing with growing up.

“Hello, Chuck E. Cheese, I would like to book a party for tomorrow. It’s my birthday. I’m turing 30. What do you mean it’s 12 and under?“ Carroll sings before adding: “Hello, Mom, can you hear me? I’m in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, dreaming of when you’d wash clothes for me when I was 12 and rent was free.”

“It’s no secret I’m three decades old,” she belts out. Our favorite lyric? “By now you should have two kids and a car, but hell no, just tell me how much French bulldogs are.”
