Kanye West: Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose Took Their Selfie at Kris Jenner’s House

Kanye West confirmed in a new interview on Thursday, February 4, that his wife, Kim Kardashian, and his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose met up this week, and that their peace talk took place at none other than Kris Jenner's mansion in Calabasas, California.

The rapper called into L.A. radio station Real 92.3 to catch up with morning show host and longtime pal Big Boy. Among the topics of discussion were West's upcoming album (which still does not have a name) and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's selfie with Yeezy's ex-girlfriend.

This past Tuesday, Kardashian and Rose posted an Internet-shattering selfie of themselves during a face-to-face sit-down. "Tea anyone?" Kardashian captioned the snap, while Rose added a cute caption of her own. Though some speculated that the pic was Photoshopped, West reiterated that the two ladies really met up.

"Yes, it is. That is a real picture," West acknowledged on Thursday. "They were at Kris' house."

Indeed, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the meeting was a long time coming. "Making amends is something that Kim has wanted to do," the insider tells Us. "Amber and Kim are both mothers, and it was the right thing to do."

As for his recent feud with Rose's ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa? The rapper confirmed that a mutual friend orchestrated their peace summit. "My brother Malik Yusef got us on the phone," West shared. "He’s very close with Wiz. He’s also very close with me. We chopped it up, squashed it." (At the time, Wiz tweeted, "Hit this kk and become yourself." West mistook the "KK" to be about his wife, but it actually stood for Khalifa Kush, a strain of cannabis.)

The "Facts" rapper, 38, acknowledged some of the disparaging remarks he made about Khalifa and Rose's 2-year-old son, Sebastian. ("You let a stripper trap you," West sniped at Khalifa in now-deleted tweets on Wednesday, January 27. "You own waves???? I own your child!!!")

"For people who felt a way about the kid comment, I didn’t mean it in a harmful way," West told Big Boy on Thursday. "I just saw my wife’s initials and reacted because that’s my family. That's my family."

The fashion designer said he was over people disrespecting his wife and her past. "People be thinking because my wife's on TV, or because she's been in an SNL skit, or whatever type of history and things blah blah blah, that's open season," he railed. "Like, 'It's OK. It's a meme.' No, that's the mother of MY kid. And I'm Ye. I don't want to act like I'm the toughest [bleep]. I just want to show I'm a man at the end of the day. Imma hold my wife down, and Imma hold my family down."

The rapper is just happy to have the incident behind him. "It was great to have closure, man," he said of his talk with Khalifa. "It was great to talk and build."
