Still rocking our world! Michael Jackson fans honored the late singer on Thursday, June 25, marking the sixth anniversary of his untimely death. One photographer may have gotten an unexpected visit from the pop icon just a few days prior, however, when he snapped a shot of a cloud that resembled Jackson.

Photographer John Plashal was in Goochland County, Va., on Tuesday, June 23, to snap pictures of a wild lightning storm, when one particular cloud caught his eye. The weather formation resembles the stance that Jackson took when doing his famous moonwalking dance, and looks like a black-and-white outfit that the star wore many times in various iterations.

“I see Michael Jackson moonwalking,” Plashal told the New York Daily News of the shot. “I see his foot raised and his legs bent, and his black pants and white top. It kind of looks like he’s looking down.”

The photo went viral on the anniversary of Jackson’s June 25, 2009 death at the age of 50. The image made its way online when Plashal posted it to his local CBS affiliate’s Facebook page.

The photographer told Salt Lake City, Utah’s Fox 13 that he did nothing to alter the shot, explaining, “The image that you see of Michael Jackson just happens to be there. It’s pretty wild.”

Jackson, who died in L.A. of cardiac arrest, was honored on Thursday by celebs including Paula Abdul, who wrote, “I was so grateful and honored to work with Michael Jackson. I saw him rehearse and cried. It was SO powerful. Amazing.”
