Diamonds (and a good dress, too) are a princess’ best friend!
The Nobel Prize Banquet took place in Stockholm, Sweden, on Thursday, Dec. 10, and that called for all the country’s royals to be in attendance — including Princesses Sofia, Madeleine, and Victoria, rocking their best tiaras for the occasion.

Crown Princess Victoria, 38, who is next in line to the throne and expecting her second child, looked absolutely radiant in an eggplant-hued dress, which she teamed with matching amethyst earrings and a necklace, not to mention her intricate diamond tiara.
Her sister, Princess Madeleine, 33, who lives in London with her two children, sparkled in a beaded periwinkle dress, topped by a tiara with complementary blue stones.
Their sister-in-law, Princess Sofia, 31, who is expecting her first child with Prince Carl Philip, wowed in a midnight-blue dress with a sheer, embellished bodice and a sweetheart neckline, paired with an emerald-topped tiara. (The tiara was made for her wedding this past June.)

Of course, this list would not be complete without Queen Silvia, who oozed glamour in a scarlet, shawl-collar gown, teamed with the tallest tiara of the lot. She also sported epic baubles on her ears and around her neck (because she is the queen, after all).
The ladies were on hand to help escort the Nobel Prize laureates into the ceremony, where King Carl XVI Gustaf presented them with their awards for achievements in science, the arts, and peace.
