Bon voyage, buds! Joel McHale led a star-studded finale episode of The Soup on Friday, December 18, which was packed to the brim with familiar faces from reality TV and beyond.

“#Soupfinaletaping Here’s an eighth of the celebrities appearing,” he captioned a shot of about two dozen boldfaced names sitting behind tables for a fake telethon.

Among the celebrities in attendance were CNN anchor Larry King, his Community costar Ken Jeong, The Office’s Kate Flannery and Parks and Recreation’s Adam Scott.

McHale, 43, brought back all of the show’s familiar characters and tropes, including Spaghetti Cat (whom he had to put down), the Mankini character (as played by series producer Dominic DeLeo) and a collection of the 11 best reality TV clips from the past 11 years.

A swarm of reality stars even came together to sing a “We Are the World”–style song, “We Killed the World,” in honor of the talk show’s demise.

The crass lyrics included mentions of “getting drunk, showing people our junk and shoving things up our anus,” and the group included such celebs as American Idol’s Sanjaya, porn star Ron Jeremy, I Love New York’s Tiffany Pollard, Survivor’s Rob Cesternino and Million Dollar ListingsMadison Hildebrand.

E! initially announced the end of the popular clip show in November, prompting The Soup’s Twitter account to quip, in typical tongue-in-cheek fashion, that the last episode would reveal that “Bigfoot has actually been working on the show as a PA this whole time.”

On Friday, McHale finally bid adieu to his viewers with a final zinger.

“I bid you a heartfelt ‘Kiss my ass,’ everyone,” he said. “Let’s go rob the celebrities.”
