Watch Ariana Grande Hilariously Spoof March Madness in This Cut ‘Saturday Night Live’ Scene

Ariana Grande proved her comedic chops when she hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time on Saturday, March 12. Now, In a newly released scene that was cut from the episode, the 22-year-old pop star is making Us laugh again.

In the sketch, Grande plays “Carrie,” who invites two airhead coworkers JoJo (Kyle Mooney) and BoBo (Beck Bennett) to her house to watch the March Madness basketball tournament. Not totally understanding the offer, the guys ask Grande a series of perplexing questions: Should they wear ponchos? Should they bring frogs? And more inexplicably, what river should they take to get to Carrie’s house?

At one point, the “Dangerous Woman” singer breaks character and can’t help but let out a small guffaw. Bennett also has a hard time not cracking up during the skit.

The sketch was discarded during the original telecast, but the former Nickelodeon star wowed SNL viewers in plenty of other bits, including a few that showcased her spot-on celebrity impressions of Rihanna, Britney Spears and Celine Dion.

Grande revealed during a March 15 appearance on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show that Dion, 47, was particularly enthused by her eerily identical rendition of “It’s All Coming Back to Me.”

“When I met Celine, she told me, she was like, ‘When I saw you, I peed!’” she said.

“I’m just a big fan! I’m a really big fan,” Grande explained to Duran of the celebs she mimics. “I think that’s why they don’t get mad, because they know that I come from a place of love, and I’m just like, ‘You’re f–king amazing!'”
