McLean lives with his second wife, Patrisha — who he married in 1987 — and their two children, Jackie and Wyatt, on a 300-acre estate in Maine.

The folk-rock artist, whose “American Pie” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002, has continued to perform into his later years. He went on his 20th nationwide tour of the U.K. last year, and currently has concert dates scheduled in the U.S. for January and April, and is playing numerous dates in Australia in March.
