Jon Hamm still has the support of his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt — despite recent reports of a split. In a statement to Us Weekly, Hamm’s rep denies the couple called it quits prior to his recent stint in rehab.
"The story that appeared in this week's edition of In Touch magazine is not true," the Mad Men actor's rep said in a statement to Us on Wednesday, April 8. "The only gentleman Jennifer visited regularly in Connecticut was Jon, while he was in rehab. They continue to ask for the public's understanding and sensitivity during this challenging time."
Hamm, who voluntarily checked himself into rehab for 30 days to overcome his alcohol addiction, has been dating Westfeldt for over 16 years.
"With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction," his rep told Us last month. "They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."
After discreetly completing treatment at nationally recognized psychiatric Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut, the 44-year-old credited the support of his family and friends while chatting with Australia’s TV Week last month.
"Life throws a lot at you sometimes, and you have to deal with it as much as you can," he told the mag just 24 hours after Us Weekly revealed he had sought treatment. "I've been very fortunate that throughout the most recent 24-hour period, I've had a lot of family and friends support me."
