Maybe he'll be baby Seewald forever? New mom Jessa Duggar revealed via Facebook on Monday, Nov. 9, that she and her husband, Ben Seewald, "still haven't decided" on the name of their newborn baby son, who was born last Thursday.
The 19 Kids and Counting alum posted an Instagram photo of her bundle of joy, and wrote, "Every time I look into this precious little face, I can't believe he's really mine! I feel blessed beyond measure! … P.S. Still haven't decided on his middle name! Looking forward to sharing with y'all as soon as we decide!"
Duggar, 23, posted the lyrics of a Bill Gaither song, "Because He Lives," sharing her sentiments about first-time motherhood with her fans.
"How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives," the lyrics read. "But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives! Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives!"
In the comments section of the post, fans requested updates about the little one. "Jessa, just tell us the name of #babyseewald already!!" one commenter wrote.
"Haha!" Duggar replied. "We'll be announcing as soon as we settle on a name! Still haven't decided!"
Another follower advised Duggar to "snuggle that baby all you can," to which the reality star replied: "Every time I stare into his face, I can't believe he's mine! I feel blessed beyond measure!"
The reality personality also shared a family portrait on Tuesday. "So in love with our little man," she captioned the image.
TLC confirmed to Us Weekly last Thursday, Nov. 5, that Duggar and Seewald, 20, had welcomed their first child. Proud first-time papa Seewald subsequently took to the couple's website on Friday to share an update about the little one.
"Our sweet baby boy was born last night," Seewald wrote. "He weighed 9 lbs and 11 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long! He’s precious and both he and Jessa are doing great. Stay tuned — we will share his name soon!"
