A decade already?! Keith Urban posted a bizarre-but-adorable video of himself lip-syncing with his wife of nearly 10 years, Nicole Kidman, via Facebook on Thursday, May 12.
The clip, reminiscent of James Corden‘s wildly popular Carpool Karaoke series, kicks off with a makeup-free Kidman, 48, seated beside her husband, also 48, in the passenger seat of their four-wheel drive. “Oh my God!” the Oscar-winning actress jokingly exclaims as her husband’s new song, “The Fighter,” blares over the speakers of the car. “I love this song!”
The sweet pair — who are parents to young daughters Faith, 5, and Sunday, 7 — sing along to the upbeat country tune with Kidman lip-synching Carrie Underwood‘s portion of the duet.
“What if I cry?” Kidman sings as she motions streaming tears. Urban then interjects with the line, “I’ll never make you cry.”
Throughout the goofy video, Kidman appears to be completely enamored with her superstar husband, who rocks out and sings “you’re beautiful” repeatedly to her as she blushes. It’s clear that after nearly a decade of marriage, the two are still very much in love.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday, Urban hinted at their upcoming anniversary plans next month — and it looks like they will be celebrating in Boston. “The tour was laid out,” Urban told the show host. “And I said, ‘You know, I can’t work on our anniversary and Nic said, ‘What if I come up to Boston and we’ll celebrate it together?’ And I said, ‘Fantastic.’ So that’s what we decided to do.”
Kidman, who was famously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, met the “You’ll Think of Me” singer in 2005 — and hit it off immediately. The Australian natives subsequently tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Sydney in June 2006. (Kidman is also mom to two grown kids, Connor, 21, and Bella, 23, from her marriage to Cruise.)
“Meeting her and getting married [is when my life began],” Urban told CBS Sunday Morning this past Sunday, May 8. “[It] wasn’t life-changing, it was life-beginning. It was literally, like, ‘OK, life starts.'”
His new album, Ripcord, hit stores this past weekend.
